Anita Barone

Barone starred in The Shoes, an episode in Seinfeld's fourth season. She played Gail Cunningham, a chef who was looking to buy Elaine Benes' shoes. Early in the 1990s Barone was a regular for Carol & Company alongside Carol Burnett. Barone had also played Carol Willick Ross Geller's husband in Friends the first time she appeared. Jane Sibbett took over her role after Barone quit the show in order to concentrate on working full-time. She appeared on The Jeff Foxworthy Show in its first season (from 1995-1996), and then in The War at Home in 2005 and 2007. Barone was also co-starring in Daddio. Other television credits for Barone include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005 for her performance as One Last Ride. Barone's regular role on the Disney Channel show Shake It Up started in 2010 about three years following The War at Home finished the show's run. She played officer Georgia Jones, the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave Guest Starred in two episodes in Shake It Up. He played J.J. Jones. Barone's ex-husband.
